Stately old Mantle Clock by William L. Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted, Conn. U.S.A.
Measuring 17-1/2 x 6 x 10-1/2", this clock is in fair condition. Circa early 1900s, the paper face is cracked from 11-1 in a V shape as shown in the pictures.
There is a note that came with the clock that states the history of the clock which was a wedding gift to the author's parents from their brother John Krug. It has been repaired and it works but 'it bongs on the hour & the half'. The clock also comes with a set of keys.
Overall, this is a lovely piece of history and would be a great addition to your decor.
