Fabulous statement piece. This Victorian mahogany and needlepoint behind glass fire screen with mirror on the back is an absolutely beautiful work of art. The carvings of nuts, flowers and leaves on the four legs alone warrant your attention.
In excellent condition, the fire screen stands 60" high by 32" wide and commands the room. The wonderful needlepoint depicts a parrot perched on a branch adorned with flowers. The mirror - although added later - is in excellent condition and offers a secondary visual if positioned away from a wall.
